How to Book a Tour and Ski Equipment?
We have prepared a step-by-step guide to help you easily book your tour and ski equipment without wasting time in queues at the ski resort. The booking process is the same for Kartepe and Kartalkaya.
Please Note:
- The prices shown in this guide are from previous seasons. You can find the latest prices on our website.
- If your device has an automatic page translation enabled, we recommend turning it off, as Google Translate may provide incorrect information. We have created dedicated pages with translations for your convenience.
1. Choosing a Tour and Making a Reservation
- Go to the “Ski Tours” – “Tour to Kartepe” section.
- Select the tour that suits you and click “Buy”.
- The page will open in Turkish – choose your preferred language.
- Select the tour date (only green-marked dates are available).
- Choose the number of participants and click “Calculate”, then “Reserve”.
2. Filling in Reservation Details
- Enter your address in Turkey, e-mail (must be valid), and phone number.
- If staying at a hotel, you can ask the reception for the address.
- Enter the details of all passengers, including yourself.
- Choose your pickup location (the timetable and navigation map are available on the website).
3. Booking and Paying for Equipment Rental
If you want to reserve your ski or snowboard gear in advance, check the box next to the required equipment and fill out the form.
- Ski set includes: skis, boots, poles.
- Snowboard set includes: snowboard, boots.
Important! Clothing (ski jacket, pants), helmet, and goggles are NOT included, even in the “Full Package.” Please check the FAQ section for “What is Included / Not Included in the Tour.”
Filling in Rental Information
For each participant, provide:
•Height (Boy)
•Weight (Kilo)
•Shoe size (Ayak numarası)
•Skiing level (Kayma seviyesi):
•Başlangıç – Beginner
•Orta – Intermediate
•İleri – Advanced
•For snowboarders: Choose your leading foot (Ön ayak):
•Sağ – Right
•Sol – Left
If you want to rent premium equipment (elite models of skis or snowboards), select the corresponding option with an additional fee.
4. Full Package: What’s Included?
If you have selected the “Full Package”, it includes:
- Round-trip transfer from Istanbul
- Lunch pack in the bus
- Unlimited ski pass for 1 day
- Standard ski or snowboard set
- Lunch at the resort (sucuk-ekmek + drink)
If you are keeping the standard equipment, simply check the 0 TL option. If you prefer an upgraded set, select the one with an extra charge.
5. Deposits for Rental and Ski Pass
For ski equipment rental, a deposit equal to the value of the set or an original passport (international or Turkish ID) is required. Residence permits (İkamet) are not accepted. The deposit will be refunded when the equipment is returned.
For ski pass purchase, a 200 TL deposit (subject to change) must be paid in cash. The deposit will be refunded when you return the card.
6. Payment and Reservation Confirmation
✅ Online Payment by Credit/Debit Card:
- We accept foreign bank cards, except for Russian banks (due to sanctions).
- Installment payment is only available with Turkish cards.
- Fill in the card details and click “Pay”.
- A confirmation email will be sent shortly, and a tour details SMS will be sent the night before the trip.
✅ Bank Transfer Payment:
- Select “Money Transfer/ETF”.
- Click “I have read and agree to the terms.”
- Complete the bank transfer to the specified account.
- Some banks have transfer limits on weekends and after hours – check with your bank.
- If you do not have a Turkish bank account, you can pay in cash at Garanti Bank with your passport.
- After payment, send the receipt and reservation details (reservation number, full name, tour date) to tur@penguentepe.com.
Your booking is only confirmed after payment is received.
❗ Seats on the bus cannot be reserved without full payment. Payment upon departure is not accepted.
7. Receiving Your Booking Confirmation
- After successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email during business hours.
- The night before the tour, you will receive an SMS with tour details and the guide’s contact information.
- If you do not have a Turkish number, the information will be sent to your email or WhatsApp.
