Since 2013, our rental shop, located on the road to Kartalkaya, has been providing high-quality and affordable ski and snowboard rental services, offering practical solutions without the need to purchase your own equipment.
Within our Elite Series, award-winning premium snowboard sets are available for rent, while our all-mountain skis allow you to enjoy off-piste skiing as well. Our professional team, passionate about winter sports and tourism, is delighted to be part of your skiing experience and contribute to making your memories even more enjoyable. At the end of the day, we are pleased to welcome you to relax by our wood-burning stove and enjoy complimentary hot tea or coffee in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

What Are the Product Details and Differences?
- A ski set includes skis, boots, and poles. Individual item prices apply if you wish to rent only specific equipment, such as skis or boots.
- Standard ski and snowboard sets consist of older, standard models.
- Upper-segment ski and snowboard sets consist of newer equipment from higher-end brands and models. In the (+) and (++) categories, new and comfortable boots from brands such as Burton and Atomic are also provided.
- (+) Ski sets generally consist of Atomic skis that are 1–3 years old. (+) Snowboard sets consist of either new snowboards that are 1–3 years old or award-winning premium snowboard models that are more than 3 years old.
- (+) Freestyle / All-Mountain sets provide the opportunity to ride off-piste and in deep snow, while their twin-tip design also allows freestyle riding on groomed slopes.
- (++) Snowboard sets consist of new, award-winning premium snowboards from brands such as Burton and Lib Tech. New Burton boots are also provided.
Clothing and accessories are not included in any of the sets. Please refer to the price list for the available options.
To save time in the morning, you can reserve your preferred equipment in advance using the reservation form below. Once your reservation has been confirmed, payment must be completed to secure your reservation.
Snowblade / Skiboard rental is charged at the Standard Ski rate.
The opening date of the season depends entirely on sufficient snowfall and then on the decisions of the resort operators. Our company never announces an opening date or a definite date focused on sales unless it is clearly confirmed based on the resort operators' plans and our snowfall assessment.
If you would like to receive these important updates as soon as they become available, please follow only these platforms (our Instagram page and mobile application) for notifications about snowfall, snow conditions, open slopes, lifts, and the season opening. The latest announcement always reflects the most up-to-date information. New announcements are published whenever there is a change. This information is not provided by phone.
We definitely cannot provide road condition information. Roads may become open within 10 minutes after snow has melted or after snow-clearing machines have completed their work. On the other hand, snowfall or icy conditions may require winter tyres or snow chains within the same amount of time. It is not possible to provide or guarantee future road conditions. Taking the necessary precautions on mountain roads and avoiding putting yourself or others at risk is the responsibility of every visitor.
- Hourly or half-day rentals are not available. The minimum rental period is one day, and the equipment must be returned by 18:30 on the same day (or on the final rental day).

For multi-day rentals, unused future days may be refunded, provided that notice is given one day in advance and the equipment is returned accordingly.
For one-day rentals, if the equipment is not returned within two hours after pickup, no refund will be issued for that day, including cases of force majeure.
- Prices are standard and fixed across all branches. PenguenTepe reserves the right to change prices.
- During the rental process, a passport must be left, and a rental agreement must be signed.

Dorukkaya Pistes
3000 ₺No deposit is required when purchasing a one-day skipass. For accommodation guests, a cash deposit of 800 TL is required for the skipass card and is refunded in cash upon return of the card at the end of the day. -

Ski Equipment Reservation Form
Secure the right products for you and your ski morning
- Your request must be sent by 16:00 at least one day before the day the equipment will be used.
- Due to the morning rush at our branches, reservation requests are answered in the order they are received after 12:00 noon. Please do not expect a confirmation before this time.
- All sets except "Standard" include new, upper-segment boots. Burton boots are provided for snowboarders and Atomic boots for skiers at all our branches. If you have previously rented (+) products from us and we have your boot size on file, please enter it in the "Your Foot Size" section. This allows you to collect your equipment without trying on boots, saving you time.
- Payment must be completed for the reservation to become valid. You will be contacted with the payment details.
- There are no hourly or half-day rentals. Rentals are made daily and must be returned the same day (Standard rental conditions apply).
- For no-shows, the first day's rental fee will not be refunded. Notification on the morning of the rental day is not considered a valid reason, as your equipment is prepared and reserved specifically for you one day in advance.

Ski / Snowboard maintenance significantly increases your skiing experience. You cannot get performance with unmaintained skis, and you may have difficulty especially on low-slope slopes.
Dop up your skiing experience by having your skis serviced while drinking your tea/coffee at our branches. Note: Maintenance time depends on density and order.

Driving Directions
If you are arriving via the TEM motorway, take the Bolu Doğu (Kartalkaya) exit. After passing the toll booths, continue following the signs to Kartalkaya. Turn right onto the D-100 highway, then after approximately 500 metres turn left onto the Kartalkaya Summit Road. After about 6 km, you will see us on the right-hand side of the road.
