Since 2013, our rental shop, located on the road to Kartalkaya, has been providing ski and snowboard rental services, offering high-quality and practical solutions without the need to purchase your own equipment.

Within the Elite Series concept, award-winning premium snowboard sets are available for rent, along with all-mountain skis suitable for off-piste skiing. We focus on high-quality equipment and a well-organized rental process, and at the end of the day, a warm and cozy atmosphere is provided where guests can return their equipment and enjoy complimentary tea or coffee by the wood-burning stove before heading home.

Ski & Snowboard Set Details

A ski set includes skis, boots, and poles. Prices listed for individual items (skis, boots, etc.) apply when renting a single item only.
For example, if you already have your own boots and wish to rent skis only.

Standard ski / snowboard sets consist of older, entry-level models.
Upper segment sets include newer equipment and higher-end brands and models.

For (+) and (++) categories, new and more comfortable boots from leading brands such as Burton, Atomic, and similar are provided.

  • (+) Ski sets usually consist of Atomic skis that are 1–3 years old.
    Snowboard sets in the same category include either new 1–3-year-old boards or award-winning elite boards older than 3 years.

  • (+) Freestyle / All Mountain sets are suitable for off-piste and deep snow conditions and also allow freestyle riding on groomed slopes thanks to their twin-tip design.

  • (++) Snowboard sets include new, high-end, award-winning snowboards from brands such as Burton and Lib Tech. Boots provided are also new, primarily Burton.

*** Clothing and accessories are not included in any of the sets.

***  To secure your preferred equipment and save time in the morning, you may use the online reservation form below (payment is required).

Hourly or half-day rentals are not available. Rentals are offered for a minimum of one full day, and the equipment must be returned on the same day (or on the final rental day) by 18:30.

For multi-day rentals, unused future days may be refunded, provided that prior notice is given the day before and the equipment is returned accordingly.
For one-day rentals, if the equipment is not returned within 2 hours after pickup, no refund will be issued for that day, including all force majeure situations.

Prices are standard and fixed across all branches. PenguenTepe reserves the right to make price changes.

During the rental process, a valid ID must be left and a rental agreement must be signed.

Kartalkaya Skipass Prices 2025-2026

  • Dorukkaya Pistes

    3000 ₺
    No deposit is required when purchasing a one-day skipass. For accommodation guests, a cash deposit of 800 TL is required for the skipass card and is refunded in cash upon return of the card at the end of the day.

Ski Equipment Reservation Form

Secure the right products for you and your ski morning

  • Your request must be sent by 16:00 at least one day before the day the equipment will be used.
  • Due to the morning rush in our branches, reservation requests are responded to in the order of requests after 12:00 noon during the day. Please do not confirm the process before this time.
  • In all sets except "Standard", upper segment, new shoes are provided. These are Burton brand for boarders and Atomic brand for skiers in all our branches. If you have rented (+) products from us before and recorded the number, please indicate it in the "Your Foot Size" section. In this way, you can receive your products without having to try on shoes and without wasting time.
  • Payment must be completed for the reservation to be valid (You will be contacted).
  • There are no hourly or half-day rentals. Rentals are made daily and must be returned the same day (Standard rental conditions apply).
  • For No-Shows, the first day's reservation will not be refunded (Notifying in the morning of the reservation day is not a valid reason, your product is arranged and reserved specifically for you by the team the day before).

Ski / Snowboard maintenance significantly increases your skiing experience. You cannot get performance with unmaintained skis, and you may have difficulty especially on low-slope slopes.

Dop up your skiing experience by having your skis serviced while drinking your tea/coffee at our branches. Note: Maintenance time depends on density and order.

Driving Directions

If you are coming via the TEM highway, take the Bolu Doğu (Kartalkaya) exit. After passing the toll booths, follow the Kartalkaya signs. Turn right onto the D-100 road, then after approximately 500 meters, turn left onto the Kartalkaya Summit Road. After about 6 km, you will find us on the right-hand side of the road.
